Objective Location Executive seminars are delivered through a combination of face-to-face weekend seminars alternating with weekly online study. Face-to-face classes are held at one of two locations in Maryland: UMUC Headquarters in Adelphi or the Universities at Shady Grove (USG) in Rockville. Resources All Graduate students are automatically registered in the online information system of the University System of Maryland and have extensive access to an array of online journal databases and national and international newspapers. These resources are available through the Information and Library Services Web site at www.umuc.edu/library. There are more than 65 proprietary databases, over half of which are full-text, covering business, management, and computer science areas. All are accessible via the Internet using a Web browser. Required Library Course To ensure students are well prepared to take advantage of modern library and information resources, the Graduate School has developed a 100 percent online, non-credit library research course. All executive students must successfully complete UCSP 610E Library Skills for the Information Age within their first seminar.
