| 1. In Microsoft Word 2000, Open the document you want to save as
a web (HTML) page. |

| 3. Once you have exported the Word document to Compact HTML, you
will need to close the document. |

If you do not see the Microsoft Office Tools
in the Microsoft Office Folder or you do not have a Microsoft
Office Folder under the Programs menu, the filter may reside
in the folder Microsoft Office Tools ().
If you can locate the Microsoft Office
HTML Filter 2.0. Double check to make sure you have installed
the filter to your machine. |

5. The following dialog box should appear when you open the Microsoft
Office HTML Filter 2.0. Click on the button.

You will not need to do this step each time
you use the Microsoft
Office HTML Filter 2.0. |

The Following Dialog box will appear. Ensure that your dialog box
looks like the image below then click the button. (To learn more

6. You will return to main dialog box. Click
on the button.

Navigate to the HTML file that you saved in Step
2 and click on the button.

You can filter more than one file at a time
by repeating Steps 6 and 7. |

8. Once you have added all the HTML documents that you want to
filter, click on the button.

Once you have filtered your
HTML DO
NOT reopen
the file in Microsoft Word 2000. You will need to use Netscape
Composer or some other HTML editor to make modifications
to the HTML document. If you reopen the
file in Microsoft Word, the extraneous code that Microsoft
Office uses will be re-embedded into the document. |
