Use a Template

A. Download a Lecture Template 1. In Navigator, go to http://info.umuc.edu/de/ezine/templates_oracle/lecture.htm Select a template you like best. 2. Select File -->Edit Page.   This will open the file in Netscape Composer. 3. Save the file in Composer by selecting File -->Save as from the Toolbar.   Navigate to your A:\ drive.   Before clicking on save, select A: from the Save in: box.  Click on the Create New Folder icon (the third icon to the right of the Save in: box).  In the Name: dialog box, type template and click on OK.  Double-click on the template folder to and click on Save (save the file as lecture1.htm).  This will save the HTML and image files to your floppy disk. 4. Download lesson_01.doc and open in Microsoft Word.  Copy the lecture text by selecting all (Ctrl-A) and copying (Ctrl-C). Keyboard Shortcuts  Copy Text Ctrl+C  Paste   Ctrl+V  Cut Ctrl+X  Undo Ctrl+Z  Select All Ctrl+A  Quickly switch between programs ALT+Tab 5. Go back to lecture1.htm in Netscape Composer.   Insert the cursor under the heading "Lecture Notes" and paste (Ctrl-V) in the lecture text.  Save.
