Team Goal
The goal of the Global Strategists is to obtain a grade 90% or better for all assignments while gaining a new level of understanding on cultural, business, and economic differences throughout the world. We will strive to create a synergy only possible through acting as a cohesive team, actively contributing, participating and combining ideas that will result in new knowledge unattainable by an individual.
Team Mission and Values
Our primary objective
is to utilize the combined knowledge and skills of The Global Strategists’
to develop innovative reports based on previous learning objectives related
to systems and critical thinking, ethics and social responsibility, management
and technological advances for the purpose of addressing complex global
issues related to our multinational business and countries. As a team,
we will build trust and respect with open, supportive and candid communications,
sharing technologies and best practices throughout the course. To maintain
synergy among our members, collaborate and produce weekly projects within
specified timeframes while maintaining effective communication, is our
second objective. We are a team, we are responsive, and
go about our goal and mission with integrity.
Values are vital
to our team; shared values bind us together along a common path. Values
jointly shared also provide a framework for making decisions, encouraging
constructive patterns of behavior; elicit learning and defining avenues
for achieving personal and team success in this course.
Our Business Strategy:
? Organizations and
our daily environment have become increasingly global and multicultural. We
must position ourselves and gain knowledge related to our chosen multinational
company to effectively succeed in overseas markets of varying laws and
cultures.
?Our
focus is on a premier world leader in the coffee industry, Starbucks, applying
innovative business decisions to expand and assess trading opportunities
and international business risks. We must have a diverse approach to international
business, people, and a goal to meet this global challenge. We have a passion
for excellence in simplifying the processes necessary for project collaboration;
this is the driver for our competitive advantage.
? Global demographics
are changing domestically and internationally. Regional economic cooperation
is essential and global competition is increasing. We
must be able to understand, connect, respond and assimilate the business
activities to each targeted market.
