| When you register for a conferenced course, your enrollment means you have made a
commitment to participate in your course conference online. When you need to contact your
teacher, please do so using the email system available in your conference. This system
allows you to communicate with your faculty member and your coursemates in a virtual
classroom, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Plan to participate online in the conference
on a regular basis. Weekly online discussion topics will be found under Conference
Discussions in each week of the Readings and Assignments section in the syllabus. Refer to
the Grading Policy in the online syllabus to see how your conference participation will
count toward your final grade.
To prepare to use the online conference, you should read the documents -- WebTycho
Etiquette and WebTycho Participation. You may prefer to print these documents out; you may
need to refer to them frequently during the semester.
