Register for Proctored Exams

Students taking distance education courses take final examinations in a proctored (supervised) setting either at one of UMUC’s proctored sites or at an alternate site where an approved proctor can administer the test.

All students must register their examination information.

Late Registration, Spring

Faculty and Distance Education Services is proud to announce a new automated exam registration system!

Beginning April 9, students registering for distance exams will use the new automated procedure that is accessed through UMUC's Interactive Student Information System (ISIS). You will need to know your PIN as well as your student ID number.

This new automated system allows for greater security and flexibility in registering for your distance exams. Some of the features are:

  • Seat counts at UMUC proctored sites let you know immediately if a session is full.
  • Confirmation e-mails are sent automatically upon registration.
  • You can check and/or change your information right up to the registration closing date.
  • Alternate site requests will be be processed within one week.
